The Full Story

Background

The relationship between the world around us and the sacred spaces within us is dynamic and unique for each individual. While helping others navigate inner landscapes I also like to acknowledge the contexts that surround us. Personally, I've lived in the Denver metro area my entire life and love Colorado from its mountains to its plains. As part of a Latinx family, learning to love a little chaos was a lesson I learned early and one that has made me comfortable working with individuals as well as the overlapping systems they live within. I am a graduate of the University of Colorado Denver where I studied counseling with an emphasis on relational work and now I am working as a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate.

A Note on Images

You might have asked, why a dandelion? Although often considered a weed, almost every part of the dandelion plant is not only edible, but often medicinal. Sometimes, all that separates us from the potential in something is our own perspective. Mental health might not be as straight-forward as that, but we each contain tremendous potential and the ability to shift and expand perspective. My hope is that by doing so, we can each discover our own capacities for healing.

As for the other images on this site, they're each from different areas of Colorado. It probably won't fix everything, but getting out and connected to nature is a powerful tool for healing.
